Project Title: Smart Zebra Crossing with Pedestrian Detection
Objective:
Design and build a smart zebra crossing that uses technology to enhance pedestrian safety by detecting pedestrians and alerting drivers when someone is about to cross.
Materials and Components:
- Arduino or Raspberry Pi for control.
- Ultrasonic sensors or infrared sensors for detecting pedestrians.
- LED lights or signal lights for pedestrian indications.
- LED display or LCD for driver alerts.
- Breadboard and jumper wires.
- Power source (battery or adapter).
- Push buttons for pedestrian activation.
- A model zebra crossing or a crossing on a large board.
